Being charitable is always a good thing. As Christians, it is part of our culture to be charitble, helping those in need and promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every way we can.

The Bible says in 2nd Cor.9:7: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” and in Prov. 18:16 it further says: “A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.”
